Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Crunch Balls

These Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Crunch Balls are the BEST treat for a sweet tooth while also being gluten-free, vegan, and refined sugar-free.

Believe it or not, I have always been a huuuuge candy gal! Growing up, every time I’d go to the grocery store with my mom, I would beg her to let me pick out a candy bar as we were checking out. I would usually choose Reese’s, Butterfingers, or Snickers and this recipe is basically a healthier combo of the three (with a hint of Rice Krispie’s as well 😉

My favorite part about this recipe (besides how amazing they taste) is that you only need 6 ingredients— TOTAL. And you probably already have most of them on hand! I also love that they are kept in the freezer because I can have a batch ready to go at all times for whenever my candy cravings come out (which is often) 😆

For this recipe you will need…

  • peanut butter— I always go for the natural kind where the only ingredients are peanuts or peanuts and salt. I’ve been loving the Costco organic brand lately!
  • maple syrup— for a little bit of natural sweetness!
  • rice krispie cereal— I used the organic variety from Whole Foods but feel free to use whichever you have on hand/is most easily accessible to you
  • oat flour— you can make your own at home by adding oats to a blender or food processor and blending until you reach a fine flour consistency. You can also buy oat flour at most grocery stores inexpensively.
  • chocolate chips— for the chocolate dipping
  • coconut oil— you only need 2 teaspoons to help thin out the melted chocolate
