Healthy Baked Donuts

These Healthy Baked Donuts are gluten-free, dairy-free, super simple to make, and sure to satisfy any sweet tooth craving!

I know donuts might SEEM difficult to make, but I promise these come together so quickly and itโ€™s actually really fun to pipe the batter into the donut molds and then dip the donuts into melted chocolate ๐Ÿ˜Š

TBH (donโ€™t hate me for this), but I am not a huuuuuge donut gal. I just feel like they arenโ€™t satisfying to me! Theyโ€™re too airy and not substantial enough ๐Ÿ˜‚

With that being said, these donuts I absolutely LOVE. They are a little bit more dense and fluffy than regular donuts and have a almost cake-y consistency. The cake-like texture along with the chocolate and sprinkles is unbeatable!

Tips for making these donuts:

  • Each gluten-free flour is slightly different. I used Bobโ€™s Red Mill Gluten-Free 1:1 flour so that is the one I recommend for this recipe.
  • I use silicone donut molds I bought on Amazon. I love using these silicone molds because the donuts come out super easily and nothing sticks!
  • I used coconut sugar because it is an unrefined sweetener but you can totally sub regular sugar.
  • I chose to use avocado oil this time but you can also use melted coconut oil or any other oil of choice.

Hereโ€™s what you need:

Gluten-free 1:1 flour

Coconut sugar

Milk of choice: I used almond milk

Avocado oil

1 egg

Vanilla extract

Baking soda

Sea salt

Chocolate chips and sprinkles for the topping

Hope you guys love them!
