This Healthy Apple Cinnamon Bread is gluten free, dairy free, and has a maple cream cheese drizzle on top that is drool-worthy! Once you taste it, you won’t believe that it’s made with only simple ingredients AND comes together with a blender. Blender bread is amazing for how easy it is to throw together and the minimal cleanup! But the end product looks like you spent hours in the kitchen 💁♀️
This bread is one of my favorites because it tastes like apple pie thanks to the warming, cozy spices. I’ve honestly made this so many times to have as a sweet treat or a snack throughout the week. Friends and family I’ve made this for are just as obsessed!!
See the video tutorial HERE.
What You’ll Need
Apples – medium-sized and I love red apples for added sweetness!
Almond flour
Eggs
Coconut sugar
Avocado oil – or melted coconut oil.
Vanilla extract
Cinnamon
Baking soda
Apple cider vinegar – or lemon juice.
Sea salt
How To Make
Preheat the oven to 350F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper. A great hack for this is to cut the parchment paper as wide as the bottom of the pan so when your bake is done, you can just lift it out!
Start by dicing the apples into small pieces. You can either leave or take off the peel before dicing. Set aside one of the diced apples and leave the others for later! Then add all of the ingredients to a high-speed blender or food processor. Blend until fully combined and smooth – you may need to scrape the sides a couple of times. Once done, stir in the remaining apples for added texture!
Pour the batter into the loaf pan and smooth out the top so it’s nice and even. Bake for about 50 minutes until risen and golden. Let it cool.
For the drizzle, mix all of the icing ingredients until you’ve reached your desired consistency. You can always add more milk to thin if needed.
Once your bread is completely cool, drizzle the icing on top (as much as you want 💁♀️). Slice and enjoy!

First time making a recipe from Calla and couldn’t wait to try this one. Followed the instructions (minus the drizzle for the top) and substituted the coconut sugar for a different alternative brown sugar (Truvia) and it didn’t disappoint.
This loaf was moist, fluffy, delicious with just enough hint of the apple and cinnamon – it was a real winner and can’t wait to make this again very soon! Thank you so much for sharing this delicious loaf recipe 🙂 x
Aw, I am SO happy to hear you loved it! One of my favorites 🙂 thanks so much for the comment! xo
Could you make this recipe into muffins instead please Calla?
Many thanks,
Alex
You should be able to make these into muffins by pouring the batter into muffin tins (fill 2/3 – 3/4 of the way full), bake at the same temperature for 18-25 minutes. Start checking for doneness around then and leave in for longer if needed. Such a great idea!
