Healthy Berry Crisp

Ingredients

For the berries

  • 5 cups berries
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp arrowroot starch
  • pinch salt

For the crisp

  • 1 cup oats
  • 1 cup 1:1 gluten-free flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup + 2 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Wash berries and slice if needed. Make sure they are dry! Add berries, maple syrup, lemon juice, arrowroot starch and salt to a 8x8 baking dish.
  • In a bowl, add all crumble ingredients and mix well. Add spoonfuls of crumble onto berry mixture. Bake for 40-45 minutes. Let cool and enjoy!
