This Viral Cloud Pizza is gluten free, high protein, and low carb. The crust is made with only three simple ingredients and is the perfect soft, airy, thin base for any toppings you want to add. You’ll want to save this for your next pizza night!

I love pizza and could honestly eat it multiple times a week. But nobody really likes eating the same exact things all the time so that’s why coming up with fun, new ways to enjoy is the best! I make sure to switch things up by making fun alternatives like my Healthy Greek Yogurt Pizza Crust, High Protein Breakfast Pizza, Cottage Cheese Pizza Bowl, and High Protein Pizza Toast. And when I saw recipes for this viral cloud pizza on social media, I had to try my own version to see if it was worth the fuss AND that it was just as good as others I’ve shared.

I’m not going to lie, I was really skeptical of how this was going to turn out based on what the “crust” looks like when you put it in the oven. But I promise that it will form THE fluffiest thin crust, just trust the process! I was shocked at how well it turned out considering it’s basically made with only egg whites and a little cornstarch. It’s a little more flimsy than a traditional crust but the flavor is savory, the texture is soft and chewy, making it the perfect base for any kind of pizza your heart desires.

This would be perfect for custom pizza nights with friends, family, significant others, or to add to your personal weekly meal rotation!

Why You’ll Love This

  • Three ingredients – Not including the toppings, this crust is only three ingredients with a focus on higher protein, low carb. You probably already have everything at home.
  • Customizable – The best part about a pizza crust recipe is that you can use the same recipe and change up the toppings every time! Use what you have in the fridge or for a specific kind you’re craving.
  • Ready in under thirty minutes –Between mixing the ingredients and baking, everything takes around twenty minutes.
  • Dietary friendly – This is gluten free, high protein, low carb, and can be kept dairy free depending on toppings added.

How To Make

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg whites, cornstarch, and salt with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form – mixing for about three to five minutes.
  3. Evenly spread the mixture onto the lined baking sheet, covering the entire area. (Tip: I like to lightly spray the parchment paper to help keep the crust from sticking!)
  4. Bake for twelve to fourteen minutes, until lightly golden brown. (Tip: Depending on the thickness of your crust, it might take a little longer to bake.)
  5. Once done, add your toppings and place bake in the oven until cheese is melted or other toppings are warmed.
  6. Slice and enjoy!
