I prefer cake-y donuts to the more popular ones so these have quickly become one of my favorites to make 🙈 Oh, and the cream cheese frosting with a hint of cinnamon really just brings these to the next level! Highly recommend making a batch (or 3) and freezing the extra so you always have a sweet treat on hand.

How To Make

Begin by preheating your oven to 350F. Lightly grease your donut pan (unless it’s silicone) and set aside. Here is the silicone pan I use for my baked donut recipes! I love how easy it is to pop them out after their done baking.

Next, gather all of your donut ingredients and a medium/large mixing bowl. Add all of the ingredients to the bowl and mix well until smooth and fully combined.

Then, take a plastic baggie and scoop all of the batter inside. Slice the corner of the baggie off to create a piping bag (a fave baking tip 🙌)! Pipe the donut batter into each donut mold on your pan. Place in the oven for 25-30 minutes until they’ve risen and are golden. Wait until they cool completely before removing from the pan so they don’t crack or fall apart!

Take your frosting ingredients, add them to a mixing bowl, and whisk until your desired consistency has been reached. This might require some more or less powdered sugar! Just add a little at a time if you need.

Once that’s made and the donuts are cooled, dip each into the frosting. Leave them as they are or add some more pumpkin spice, cinnamon, sprinkles, or whatever your heart wants 💛
