This Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark is gluten free, vegan (depending on what chocolate you use), and is the perfect fix for when you’re craving a healthier sweet treat!
This recipe went viral and kept popping up on my pages so of course, I HAD to try and see if it was worth the hype. It is 🙈 You can’t go wrong with the combination of peanut butter and chocolate but the sweetness from the strawberries just takes this up a notch! Add the crunch from the hardened chocolate… it’s perfection.
The best part is, you probably already have these three ingredients in your kitchen and it takes no time to throw together. Waiting for it to set is the longest part! I love having this or a variation of it in the freezer for when I need a little chocolate fix.
See how to make it HERE.
What You’ll Need
- Strawberries
- Peanut butter – or nut/seed butter of choice.
- Chocolate – I love Hu but you can use any kind you like!
How To Make
It’s so simple! Start by washing and drying your strawberries. You’ll want to make sure they’re fully dry. Slice and arrange in rows on a parchment paper lined tray (make sure it will fit in your freezer)!
Add peanut butter on top of the strawberries and spread evenly. Melt your chocolate by microwaving for 30 seconds, stirring, and repeating until it’s fully melted! Pour this on top and spread again until everything is coated in chocolate.
Lastly, add some flakey sea salt and set the tray in the freezer for at least two hours. Once set, let this thaw for five to ten minutes, slice into pieces, or break apart, and enjoy!
