These Berry Chocolate Clusters are gluten free, vegan, and the perfect sweet and refreshing summer treat. They’re made with less than five simple ingredients and are naturally sweetened. You’re going to love how easy these are to make!
In the summer, especially when we’re having high-temp weeks, the last thing I want to do is add extra heat by using the oven all the time. That’s why I’ve been really loving any no-bake desserts and recipes lately! Not only are they super quick to make they’re also refreshing and stored in the freezer so I can have batches of different treats on hand when I want a snack or dessert.
Fresh fruit covered in chocolate is always a winning combo! I’ve made a few frozen fruit recipes like my Healthy Banana Bark and Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark but I love that these fruit clusters are already in bite-sized pieces.
The frozen fruit gives a nice, sweet, and creamy texture (the frozen bananas have an ice cream consistency), topped with a crunchy chocolate coating, and flakes of sea salt for extra flavor. What could be better?
Why You’ll Love These
- Perfect summer treat – It’s no bake and so refreshing for those hot summer days.
- Customizable – Make it your own by adding nuts, seeds, other fruits, before pouring chocolate on top!
- Meal prep favorite – Because these are stored in the freezer, you can make a batch and always have a quick sweet treat ready.
- Dietary friendly – These are naturally gluten free and can be vegan, dairy free, and refined sugar free depending on what chocolate you use.
What You’ll Need
- Banana
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Chocolate – I used my favorite dark chocolate bar or you can use chocolate chips!
- Coconut oil – This is to help smooth the chocolate out when you melt it.
How To Make
- Cover a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper. Make sure it will fit in your freezer!
- Slice banana into coins and place on top of parchment paper in groups of three. Then add raspberries to the outside of each group and repeat with the blueberries.
- Melt chocolate by combining chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until smooth and fully melted.
- Pour the chocolate over each fruit cluster, making sure they’re fully covered.
- Place in the freezer for at least two hours or until fully hardened and set.
- Let them thaw for a few minutes before enjoying! (Tip: Sprinkle each with a little sea salt to add some flavor!)

I haven’t tried this as yet. Looks yummy. Can frozen fruits be used, in place of fresh?
Yes! 🙂
