The Best Ever Banana Cake with "Cream Cheese" Frosting (gluten-free + dairy-free)

gluten-free 1:1 baking flour

For the Dairy-Free Cream Cheese Frosting:
1/2
cup
dairy-free cream cheese, softened
(can sub regular cream cheese)

tbsp
butter or vegan butter, softened

tbsp
maple syrup

powdered sugar
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and line a baking dish (I used 8x8) with parchment paper.
Whisk together the brown sugar and the egg.
Stir in mashed bananas, oil, and vanilla.
Add in flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Mix again.
Pour batter into baking dish and bake for 40-45 minutes.
Let cake cool and make frosting by mixing together all ingredients.
Spread frosting over cake and enjoy!
