This easy healthy high protein banana bread is gluten free, high protein, refined sugar free, low sugar, clean eating, can be dairy free. On a sheet of parchment paper taken from the loaf pan is a freshly baked loaf of healthy banana bread cut into eight thick slices. one slice is on its side to show the inside texture better. The outside of the loaf is risen, golden brown, topped with melted chocolate chips, and looks fluffy. The inside is soft, fluffy, moist, and bouncy with chocolate chips throughout.

Protein Banana Bread (Gluten Free)

Ingredients

  • 3 medium spotty bananas
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop protein powder (about 1/4 cup)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp honey (or liquid sweetener)
  • 1.5 cups oat flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (+ more for topping)

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper.
  • Mash bananas with a fork or potato masher.
  • Add rest of ingredients except chocolate chips and mix well.
  • Stir in the chocolate chips.
  • Transfer the batter to the lined loaf pan and even out the top for an even bake.
  • Bake for 45 min until risen and slightly golden.
  • Let cool completely, slice, and enjoy!
