Gingerbread Cake (Gluten Free)

Cream cheese frosting

cup
cream cheese
(softened, option to use dairy free)

tbsp
butter
(softened, option to use vegan)

cups
organic powdered sugar
(or powdered monkfruit)

maple syrup

cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and line an 8x8 baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl mix all cake ingredients together.
Pour the batter into baking dish and smooth out the top.
Bake for 28-30 min until a toothpick comes out clean.
Remove from baking dish and place on a cooling rack to prevent sogginess.
Let cool completely and make the frosting by combining all frosting ingredients.
Spread frosting over the cake, option to sprinkle cinnamon.
Slice and enjoy!
