Easy, Healthier Cinnamon Rolls (Refined Sugar Free)

Ingredients
Dough:

cup
organic all purpose flour
(or 1:1 gluten free flour)

cup
yogurt
(or thick dairy free yogurt)
2
tsp
baking powder
2
tbsp
coconut sugar
Filling:
1/3
cup
coconut sugar
1/4
cup
melted coconut oil or butter
1
tbsp
cinnamon
Frosting:
1/4
cup
cream cheese
(or dairy free cream cheese)
2
tbsp
maple syrup
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a round baking dish.
Make the dough. Mix together flour, baking powder, and coconut sugar.
Add in yogurt and mix again until a dough forms. It will be crumbly at first!
Place a sheet of parchment paper on the counter and sprinkle with a little bit of flour to prevent sticking.
Place dough onto parchment paper and sprinkle dough with more flour.
Roll the dough into a thin rectangle shape.
Make the filling. Mix together filling ingredients and pour onto dough. Let set for a couple of minutes.
Carefully roll the dough up, using the parchment paper to help.
Use dental floss, baker's twine, or carefully slice using a knife to slice the dough into 6 rolls.
Place all of the rolls into the greased round dish and bake 30-35min. Let cool for a couple of minutes.
Make frosting by mixing frosting ingredients until smooth.
Pour over cinnamon rolls, spread, and enjoy!
