1-1.5lbchicken tenderloins (or chicken breast cut into tenderloins)
2cups2 cups rice cereal (or flour or panko)
1-2eggs(depending on how much chicken you have)
seasons of choice (I used oregano, onion powder, sage, thyme)
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
If you’re using puffed rice cereal, pulse a few times in a food processor or blender until it’s a flour-ish consistenty.
Whisk egg in a bowl. In another bowl, mix flour or puffed rice mixture with spices, salt and pepper (you want wide shallow bowls for easy dipping!)
Spray air fryer with oil. Pat chicken dry with a paper towel. Dip each tender into egg mixture and then into flour mixture and set in the air fryer. You may have to do multiple batches because you don’t want to overfill the air fryer.
Air fry the chicken tenders at 400F for 10 minutes, flip them, and bake another 10-15 min or until chicken is fully cooked through.
