These Snickers Peanut Butter Banana Pops are gluten free, vegan, and are the perfect no bake summer treat. They’re made with a few simple ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen and take minutes to put together. These pops are creamy, crunchy, sweet, and the best to snack on on a hot day!

In the summer, I crave something sweet that is also going to cool me down. That’s why I’ve been loving no bake recipes like my Strawberry Cheesecake Frozen Yogurt Bites, Healthy Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark, High Protein Cheesecake Ice Cream. Another plus of these no bake recipes is they store really well in the freezer so you can have batches that last throughout the week! I like to make a couple recipes to have on hand to grab when I need a little sweet treat.

This recipe has been on repeat since I first made it! The frozen banana has a creaminess that’s so similar to ice cream, it blew my mind. That, plus the sweetness from the chocolate and crunchy saltiness from the peanuts and peanut butter… this treat has it ALL. If you’re a chocolate peanut butter lover like me, you need to give this a try!

Make this when you need to use up some spotty bananas, meal prep for the week ahead, or if you want a fun cooking activity with kids!

Why You’ll Love These

  • Perfect for hot, summer days – It’s no bake, has the texture of ice cream, and is fresh from the freezer. What could be better?
  • Quick and easy – Because these are no-bake and only have a handful of ingredients, they’ll be ready in no time!
  • Dietary friendly – These are naturally gluten free and can be vegan and dairy free depending on what chocolate you use. If you need it to be nut free, swap the peanut butter for sunflower butter and the peanuts for something else crunchy!

How To Make

  1. Cover a small baking sheet or plate with parchment paper. Make sure it will fit in your freezer!
  2. Add peanut butter to a shallow bowl or plate and set aside.
  3. Add peanuts to a shallow bowl or plate and set aside.
  4. Melt chocolate by combining chocolate chips and coconut oil in a small bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and repeat until smooth and fully melted.
  5. Slice a banana in half and place a popsicle stick in each. (Tip: you don’t have to do this step, you can leave the halves as they are. I just think it’s fun to make them like a popsicle!)
  6. Dip the banana half in peanut butter, fully covering. Then roll in peanuts. Repeat with every banana half you have.
  7. Place the bananas on the parchment paper lined tray and set in the freezer for fifteen minutes. (Tip: freezing before putting the chocolate on helps to keep the peanuts stuck to the banana so when you dip in the chocolate, it’s less messy!)
  8. Once slightly frozen, dip each half into the melted chocolate. Fully covering.
  9. Place the bananas back on the parchment paper lined tray and in the freezer for at least two hours.
  10. When done, let them thaw slightly, and enjoy!
