Honey Sea Salt Granola

This Honey Sea Salt Granola recipe is made with only a few simple + nutritious ingredients (that you most likely already have on hand! 😉), only requires a few minutes of prep time, is gluten-free, dairy-free, refined-sugar free, and most importantly— DELISH!

I have one word for this granola… addicting!!! The sweet and salty combo always just gets me! Any other sweet + salty lovers out there?? I grab handfuls of it plain for quick snacking and have been topping all of my smoothie bowls and yogurt bowls it!

I used to be intimidated to make my own granola at home. It seemed complicated and tedious. I am here to tell you, that is FAR from the truth! Homemade granola (at least the way I make it 😜) is superrrrr simple and homemade always just tastes better IMO! Plus, your kitchen will smell amazing for hours.

Why should I make granola at home vs. buying at the store?

Like I mentioned above, it is honeslty so simple to make, 5 minutes of prep time max and then all you need to do is bake! It is also much cheaper than buying at the store— you guys know how inexpensive oats are. You can also customize your granola exactly how you like it. You can use sprouted oats for easier digestion, gluten-free if needed, organic if you please… you name it! You can also control the amount and type of sweetener you prefer, add in your favorite extra’s (hello chocolate chips, nuts, dried fruit, etc!). The possibilities are endless 🙌

Can I make this recipe nut-free?

Absolutely! Simply swap out mixed nuts for any seeds of choice. Or leave the nut/seeds out completely. I personally like them for the nutty flavor, crunch, and some healthy fat but they are not necessary.

Is this recipe gluten-free?

It can be! All oats are gluten-free but many are processed in a facility that also handles gluten, so they are often cross-contaminated. If you don’t have a severe allergy or celiac disease, this shouldn’t be an issue. If you do have celiac or an extreme sensitivity/allergy, make sure you buy certified gluten-free oats.

I’m vegan… how can I make this recipe fit my lifestyle?

Swap out the honey for maple syrup… Maple Sea Salt Granola UMMM YUM!
