These Avocado Fudge Pops are gluten free, refined sugar free, and only take five ingredients to make! They are the perfect cold, creamy, healthy fudgesicle for a hot day. The hardest part is waiting for them to freeze!

When I was little, I used to love eating fudgesicles in the summer time. I’d eat any type of popsicle but these were one of my favorites – what can I say, I’ve always been a chocolate lover! Like many of you, since it’s been so hot outside, I’ve been on my no-bake dessert kick and have been making treats like my Viral Berry Chocolate Clusters, Snickers Peanut Butter Banana Pops, and Apple Donuts non-stop. Recently, I made some of my Healthy Chocolate Pudding which sparked the idea to make these fudge pops!

Like my chocolate pudding recipe, there’s a secret ingredient… AVOCADO. If you’re skeptical that the taste will come through, don’t be! The cocoa powder and natural sweetness from the honey mask the taste. It’s really just there for the texture and is what makes these pops so creamy and fudgy. If you’re looking for a nostalgic chocolate fix, you’re going to love these. They’re even a great snack or dessert for kids – they’ll have no idea they’re healthier and it’s a great way to sneak in extra protein and nutrients!

Why You’ll Love These

  • Cool, refreshing chocolate fix â€“ They’re no bake, ice cold, and perfect for hot summer days.
  • Balanced, sweet treat â€“ These pops are filled with nutrients from simple whole food ingredients. The Greek yogurt adds a boost of protein, avocado and nut butter add healthy fats, honey is a natural sweetener and carb, and the unsweetened cocoa provides some magnesium and other micro-nutrients.
  • Easy to prep â€“ Just blend everything together, pour into a silicone popsicle mold, and freeze until firm!
  • Dietary friendly â€“ These are naturally gluten free and refined sugar free. They can be made dairy free by using a thick dairy free yogurt instead of Greek yogurt. To make these vegan, swap the honey for maple syrup or monk fruit.

How To Make

  1. Slice an avocado in half and scoop the insides into the cup of a high speed blender or food processor.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. (Tip: You might have to stop and scrape the sides a couple times to make sure it fully blends. Add a splash of milk if needed!)
  3. Take a silicone popsicle mold and leave out the sticks. Carefully add the blended mixture to each mold, filling them close to the top.
  4. Place the popsicle sticks back in each mold and put in the freezer for at least three hours. (Tip: The longer the better to make sure they hold.)
  5. Once set, remove from the silicone mold and enjoy!
