Healthy Chip Dip

My summer addiction… HEALTHY CHIP DIP! I have been sharing this on Instagram stories almost every day and every single person who has tried it and messaged me has said they are equally addicted and that it tastes BETTER than the store-bought version.

It all started when one day my sister came home with a sour cream and onion chip dip that I LOVED when I was a kid but had completely forgot about in the last few years.

Let me just tell ya… the ingredients in the original version are 👿 laden with preservatives, conventional dairy, sugar, inflammatory vegetable oils, MSG, and who knows what else. Which, hey, isn’t going to kill you every once in awhile but why buy that when you can easily make your own that tastes just as good and is made with squeaky clean ingredients. Plus, this way you can enjoy it every day if you want to… like me! 😂

So naturally I took it upon myself to make my own healthier version and it is AMAZING. My sister said she liked my version BETTER (and she is not one to usually like healthy food 😂 sorry audie). So it’s safe to say this Healthy Chip Dip will be a crowd pleaser no matter who you’re with! My guess is that if you leave the word “healthy” out… no one will ever know! Our secret 😉

I usually use Lavva dairy-free plain yogurt but I’ve also tried it with Kitehill dairy-free greek yogurt, Nancy’s regular organic whole milk yogurt, regular organic greek yogurt, and even cottage cheese! All have been amazing 💯

The brand of chips I usually buy is Boulder Canyon avocado oil potato chips which I love because the only ingredients are potatoes, avocado oil, and sea salt! I buy them at Whole Foods and Meijer.
