What You’ll Need For Your Loaded Burger Bowls:

  • Potatoes / Sweet potatoes – whichever you prefer.
  • Oil – I use avocado oil.
  • Salt + pepper
  • Tomatoes
  • Red onion
  • Pickles
  • Romaine lettuce
  • Cheese – shredded and can be non-dairy or completely left out!
  • Mayonaise – I love Sir Kensington’s or Primal Kitchen.
  • Ketchup
  • Mustard
  • Pickles – Plus some pickle juice (trust me 😉)
  • Ground meat – I used bison but you can use turkey, chicken, or a meatless option.

How To Make:

Start by making the fries. Preheat your oven to 400F. Slice your potatoes or sweet potatoes into wedges and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Coat with oil (I love a neutral oil like avocado!), salt, and pepper. Bake for 40 minutes, until golden and crispy.

Next, prep your toppings but chopping and slicing your tomatoes, red onion, pickles, and romaine lettuce. If you’re adding any other veggies or toppings, prep these too! Make the sauce by adding equal parts mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup to a small bowl and mix until fully combined. Add pickle juice a little at a time to thin out the mixture until you’ve reached your desired consistency!

Cook your ground meat of choice (or meat substitute) on the stovetop, in a medium pan with a little oil, salt, and pepper.

Now that everything is cooked and ready to go, time to assemble your bowl! Place a bed of shredded lettuce in your bowl, top with the rest of your vegetables, ground meat, and potatoes. Drizzle the special sauce on top and enjoy!
