These Snickers Froyo Bites are a healthier high-protein treat made with only 4 ingredients (more if you add mix-ins) and are a perfect snack for any time of day! They’re naturally gluten-free, high in protein from the yogurt, healthy fats from the peanut butter, and antioxidants (+ happiness) from the chocolate. What’s not to love??
We know I love a high protein, nutrient-dense, sweet snack that tastes amazing while keeping our blood sugar and body happy! The mix of protein and fats in these bites will keep you satiated and satisfied. These have become my recent favorite to have stocked in my freezer for when the afternoon sweet craving kicks in 😆 Super easy, nutritious, and fun to throw together!

What You’ll Need For These Froyo Treats
- Greek yogurt – you can use dairy-free yogurt but make sure it has a thick consistency like Greek yogurt!
- Maple syrup
- Peanut butter – can use a different nut/seed butter but the taste will be slightly different.
- Chocolate – for melting.
- Optional mix-ins – I used peanuts for extra crunch but use anything you’d like (nuts/seeds, chocolate chips, granola, etc.) or skip this step!
How to Make
Start by mixing together the yogurt, maple syrup, and peanut butter. (Feel free to use dairy-free yogurt if needed as well as a different nut/seed butter – just note the taste might be slightly different than this original recipe!)
Line a plate or tray with parchment paper (make sure it will fit in your freezer). Place dollops of the yogurt mixture onto the parchment paper. Option to place popsicle sticks in the center of each! Top with peanuts for extra crunch and freeze for at least 1 hour or until fully set.
If you’re looking for a nut-free alternative, leave out the peanuts and freeze the mixture on its own or get creative with mix-ins like chocolate chips, granola, or other seeds!
While waiting for the pops to freeze, it’s time to make the chocolate coating. Begin melting chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each (option to do this step on the stovetop). If your chocolate is too thick, add 1 tablespoon coconut oil to thin it out.
Once everything is prepared, take your froyo bites out of the freezer and dip each into the melted chocolate until fully covered. Top with sea salt. Place them back in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Enjoy your sweet treat!

Problem, how many sticks does this make?
I made 7 of them, but I added more of each ingredients. I put sticks in 5 of them and made 2 just like cakes. 4 have pecans and the other 3 have chocolate chips on them. They don’t take long to make. Very tasty!
Such a good idea to add pecans! Sounds so yummy!
What is the nutritional breakdown?
They are delicious!!

Just made this, but my yogurt mixture was very thin. I added more yogurt but it didn’t really help. I put the yogurt mixture into 3oz. cups so I will have yogurt peanut butter pops. Can’t wait for them to freeze!
